Providence is calling a Pharmacy Business Analyses Coordinator with Providence Health Plan Partners at our location in the Portland/Beaverton/Vancouver area.
The Pharmacy Business Analyses & Systems Coordinator designs, develops, and executes the business requirements necessary to assure the accurate processing of prescription claims at participating pharmacies utilizing eligibility, benefits, formularies and drug utilization management edits in a point-of service environment. This requires coordination between internal departments and contracted vendors and interpretation of regulatory requirements.This position will focus on developing a proactive, evidence-based pipeline approach to assess high impact novel therapeutic medications, as well as collaborating with our provider partners on initiatives that drive value based care.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Healthcare related field -OR- Four (4) years additional experience as a Pharmacy Technician or a related healthcare field
Coursework/Training: Medication and drug product category training and medical terminology
Licensure in Oregon as a Pharmacy Technician and National Certification as Pharmacy Technician within one year of employment
Five (5) years experience as a Pharmacy Technician or directly related field
One (1) year managed care pharmacy experience
Coursework/Training: Project management, Six Sigma Change Acceleration Process (CAP), LEAN, and Work Out training
