Providence Health & Services Logistics Administrator: CI Operations in Washington

We are seeking a Logistics Administrator: CI Operations to:

  • Support Clinical Informatics through the coordination of informatics activities, and delivery of training classes for an assigned region

  • Partner with CI Education and Adoption, Clinical Informatics and Training Teams

  • Support training and education sessions and other training related logistics for the region as assigned

  • Perform all duties in a manner that promotes Providence mission, values and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.

  • 25% travel required within the region to support training rooms and training sessions

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of desktop software applications (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet, Email)

  • Skill in meeting logistics; document preparation; organizing detailed information for the good of an audience; working with a collaborative team

  • Ability to schedule; resolve issues and/or questions satisfactorily; work as part of a team

  • Ability to comprehend customer business needs with respect to customer requests, and objectives, mission and core values

  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure

  • Works with HR, Clinical Informatics, Training and other local contacts to ensure users are provided with accurate scheduling/location logistics and information for learning sessions

  • With limited direction, confirms that assigned training rooms are set up appropriately according to standards before classes begin (equipment, signage, maps, materials)

  • Validates that classes are scheduled and completes the student registration process including confirmations

  • Produce communication regarding upcoming training classes

  • Ensures that class attendance is monitored, tracked and accurately reported in the Learning Management System

  • Supports training supplies and materials as needed, or arranges for the materials to be prepared by another source

  • Troubleshoots and reports problems with training venue or equipment to secure resolution

  • Escalates problems when necessary and provides recommendations toward resolutions

  • Serves as a resource and point of contact for informatics, trainers, managers and students during training

  • Serves as a proctor resource for virtual classes answering questions, provides technical support, acts as a liaison between the caregivers and the delivery lead, and assists with struggling students


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED; High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two (2) years of experience in business or classroom environment

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Project Coordination experience

  • Clinical Setting experience
