Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Credentialing Program Coordinator PSJH to our location in Portland, OR
This is a remote position with occasional requirement to attend meetings on site
We are seeking a Credentialing Program Coordinator PSJH to be responsible for managing and completing facility (includes hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, hospice, home health, skilled nursing and behavioral health units) credentialing applications for our payer in a timely and accurate manner. These applications have complex details questions around organization and services. This includes utilizing independent judgment and initiative on volume and order of priority that are sensitive in nature, with demonstrated ability to interface with high level of internal and external contacts. Provides status reporting and facilitates regular reporting. Partners with leadership to support new joint ventures or growth projects to ensure the credentialing is completed timely and accurate. Provides project status reporting and facilitates regular reporting by conducting status meetings or other means as appropriate. Represents the PSJH contracting team at appropriate committee meetings as a contributing member, where credentialing is involved.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for timely completion of facility credentialing applications across our PSJH organization (all markets).
Manage completion of multiple complex facility re-credentialing and new credentialing applications across PSJH organization (all markets).
Develop, initiate and maintain credentialing applications, supporting document library, working with multiple stakeholders and departments across the organization to ensure all documents are current with no impact to revenue stream.
Scope, risk and issues management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans to support timely completion of credentialing applications.
Manage and build processes to support the completion of facility applications and reporting of credentialing status, completion and volume.
Work closely with onsite stakeholders for multiple site locations and department services to identify all compliance, insurance, legal adverse actions, and other requested information as apart of the credentialing process.
Develop Maintain report of PSJH demographic information (e.g., TIN, NPI, billing and physical address).
Prepare and track upcoming credentialing and re-credentialing.
Maintain history of all credentialing submissions and documents are saved in organized manner on SharePoint or Contract Management System.
Work independently to prioritize high volume of time sensitive re-credentialing and new credentialing submissions.
Manage and support Contract Administration/Operations projects or audits as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
3 years experience in healthcare.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Administration, etc.
5 years experience.
