Description:

$5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. This is applicable to new, external hires to Providence.

Dietitian - Dieticians and Clinical Nutrition Specialists (Licensed) at Providence St. Mary Medical Center

This position will be working 72 hours per 2 week pay period.

The Clinical Dietitian works closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide patient focused nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient's medical program goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines; assuring customer needs and satisfaction are met and/or exceeded; managing resources in a cost effective manner; participating in performance improvement efforts; and maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related area granted by U.S. regionally accredited college or university.

  • Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutirition & Dietetics.

  • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire

  • Washington Dietitian Certification within six (6) months of hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Three years clinical/related experience and/or master's degree in related field.

  • Certified Specialist in related field (CLE, CDE, CNSD, CS)

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
