Providence Senior Pharmacy Compliance Product Management Coordinator in Vancouver, Washington

Description:

Providence is calling a Senior Pharmacy Compliance Product Management Coordinator with Providence Health Plan Partners for our location in the Portland/Beaverton/Vancouver area.

This position serves two primary purposes within the Pharmacy Department at Providence Health Plans/Providence Plan Partners (PHP). First, the position is the designated pharmacy contact with state and federal regulatory staff at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the states of Oregon and Washington Insurance Divisions and PHP's Regulatory Affairs Department. Second, the position is responsible for collaboration and coordination with PHP Product Management Teams for the following products: Medicare Part D, Commercial Group Drug Benefits, Individual Product Drug Benefits, H.SA Group and Individual Drug Benefits, Self-Insured (ASO) Drug Benefits, and Medicaid (OHP) Drug Benefits.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Healthcare related field.

  • Project management, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), LEAN, and Work Out training.

  • National Certification as Pharmacy Technician within one year of employment.

  • Licensure in Oregon as a Pharmacy Technician.

  • 10 or more years xperience in healthcare service field as a business analyst, project manager, compliance coordinator or pharmacy technician responsible for pharmacy benefit administration.

  • 7 years Managed care or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) compliance experience.

  • 7 years Demonstrated effectiveness experience working with administrative, policy, audit, regulatory compliance and/or operational aspects of the Medicare Advantage program, preferably in a managed care environment.

  • 7 years Experience inclusive of internal audit and monitoring development and accountability for successful regulatory driven audits and associated responses with required leadership sign off.

  • 7 years Progressively responsible experience in pharmacy compliance and product matters, leading staff through change or implementations and interfacing with senior leaders to assure appropriate visibility.

  • Project management, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), LEAN, and Work Out experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience within the pharmacy services team of a health plan or pharmacy benefit manager.

  • Six Sigma experience
