Providence Health Services Account Manager in Vancouver, Washington


Account Manager - Quality Management Administration at Providence Health Plan Partners

The Account Manager is responsible for retaining and servicing assigned commercial groups. Provides strategic account oversight, annual renewal negotiations, annual contract review, consulting with producers and groups and identifying opportunities to expand Providence Health Plan services and relationships. The Account Management team is responsible for managing approximately $500 million of insured premium revenue, with each Account Manager averaging more than $75 million annual revenue contribution. The Account Manager must balance member and group retention with appropriate loss ratio and financial performance targets. The assigned groups include large employers, national accounts, associations and trusts.


Required qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in insurance or industry related sales and/or service with emphasis on direct, in person client contact required;

  • Valid Oregon or Washington drivers license and current auto insurance

  • Experience and comfort with public speaking and/or group presentation

Preferred qualifications:

  • Valid Oregon and Washington (when applicable) Health license required; Life & Health license.

  • Strong carrier background with understanding of Health Plan operations and customer service issues balanced with changing market needs.

  • 5 or more years experience
