Providence is calling a Change Management Director. This position will be remote and may pivot to a hybrid model in 2022 working a combination of in office and remote. We are seeking candidates that are available in commute distance in our offices in Southwest WA and/or Beaverton-Portland OR area.
The Change Management Director is responsible for developing structured approaches to transformational projects to ensure such efforts are implemented thoroughly, smoothly, and with compassion. The Director is responsible for building PHP's change methodology, processes, and tool sets, integrating change management practices into the project management lifecycle from intake through successful completion of the initiative or project. Change Management Director provides expert services to the leadership of the Transformation Management Office, executives, and functional leaders across Providence Health Plan to guide best-in-class change management practices in: understanding change, planning change, implementing change, and communicating change. Change is hard and this position will support the Providence promise of "know me, care for me, ease my way" to support our valued caregivers amid the disruption of transformational change. The position requires organizational effectiveness and change skills, in addition to project management skills. The Change Management Director will work in close collaboration with the TMO Leadership Team, VP of Transformation Management, and Chief of Strategy & Operations. This position requires strong use of initiative and independent judgment. The Director will possess excellent communication skills, strategic planning ability, project management acumen, strong relationship skills, and the ability to balance needs of multiple stakeholders to further the Mission and Vision of Providence Health Plan.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration or related discipline Or equivalent educ/experience
Completion of GE Change Facilitator (CAP and Work-Out) and AIM (Accelerated Implementation Methodology) training.
Training in Six Sigma process improvement and/or Lean methodology.
10 or more years of work experience in health care, preferably in an integrated health system, health plan, hospital or public health setting.
7 years demonstrated coaching, teaching and facilitation.
5 years of experience in managing direct reports.
2 years development and execution of organizational change management strategy.
