Providence is calling a Administrative Assistant (Hospice Shared, Day Shift, 0.6 FTE) to SCS Hospice in Portland, OR, Tukwila, WA or Anaheim, CA. Remote work is possible.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordination and maintenance of the day to day administrative and clerical operations of the hospice Quality & Education team, under the direction of the Director of Quality/Education. This position is responsible for providing ongoing administrative support services such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings. In addition, the position provides high-level administrative support by creating and maintaining SharePoint sites, supporting committee meetings and preparing reports.
In this position you will:
Communicate effectively in an open and straightforward manner, including listening skills, and by accessing the appropriate chain of command.
Provide high quality administrative support to the Quality and Education team.
Assist the Quality & Education team with Policy/Procedure development and management.
Coordinate or assist with scheduling of various meetings as needed to include contacting necessary individuals, reserving time and space, and notifying appropriate staff regarding meeting place and time.
Complete and submit to the Quality & Education team appropriate reports which include, but are not limited to, Quality Improvement and Safety statistical reports.
Coordinate any catering or hotel arrangements needed for educational events.
