Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Account Receivable Specialist Post-Acute to our location in Tukwila, WA.
We are seeking an Account Receivable Specialist Post-Acute to maintain Providence Finance Department policies and procedures. This position will also display and promote the Mission of the Sisters of Providence through the values of respect, excellence, compassion, justice, and stewardship. This position is responsible for a variety of office support functions within Providence Senior and Community Services and Home and Community Services including but not limited to data entry, clerical tasks, mail/correspondent processing.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Perform clerical and data entry tasks, including charge keying.
Support billing team by researching claim status and EOB printing.
Maintain departmental mailing and filings; open, sort, date stamp, and distributes all mail.
Responsible for logging and tracking record storage with scheduling of pick up by storage vendor.
Maintain inventory of office supplies, including special orders when necessary. Scanning and filing documents into the patient’s electronic medical record.
Clerical support for special projects as assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED.
Minimum one year recent experience with computer/10 keying or combination of college or professional business school training.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum 1yr prior experience in a hospital setting (hospital billing)
