Supervisor Clinical Education Services - Under the direction of the Executive Director of Perioperative Services, supervises the day-to-day activities of the Surgical Technologist Residency program at INWA, serving multiple campuses and ministries. Acts as a liaison between participating universities and colleges, Surgical Technologist Residents and various internal stakeholders such as departments where Surgical Technologist Residents are utilized, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Education Services and all other departments required for successful operation of the program at INWA. Manages program details including training / orientation, onboarding and assignment to units, Surgical Technologist Resident scheduling, licensure/certification, talent acquisition and selection processes, tuition loan program, coaching and mentoring, university relations, department evaluations and competency checklists. Works to ensure the success of the program in achieving stated department, ministry and regional goals for the Surgical Technologist Residency Program. Manages the Surgical Technologist Registered program. Acts as a member of the Perioperative Services Administration leadership team. Works with local Sterile Processing Programs to manage relations.

Shift: Average 40 hours weekly, 8-hour day shifts, Full-time position

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Healthcare Administration or related degree from an accredited educational institution or equivalent educ/experience working as a Certified Surgical Technologist for> 10 years with preceptor and lead experience)

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA-AST).

Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS upon hire

Current registered Surgical Technologist in WA state.

5 years of Scrubbing in an OR environment

Preferred qualifications:

Associate degree in Surgical Technology

5 years of progressively increasing leadership responsibilities.
