Providence Health & Services Senior Project Manager - Clinical Effectiveness in Spokane, Washington

Providence is calling a Project Manager - Clinical Effectiveness to Providence Health Care in Eastern Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Develop, manage and execute project plans including, but not limited to: objectives, goals, scope, schedules, resource costs and dependencies. All project plans must address the triple aim (patient experience, clinical quality and cost), and align with regional and system strategic priorities.

  • Manage and integrate groups of diverse disciplines in collaborative activities by acting as a key liaison and facilitating cross-functional communications.

  • Build relationships through networking with healthcare experts, leadership and strategic consultants.

  • Identify, gather, and analyze appropriate performance metrics, research and information necessary to accomplish project goals.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Comprehensive understanding of change management theory

  • 5 years of project management experience

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of leadership

  • Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio skills

  • Strong facilitation and consultation skills

  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Substantial clinical and leadership experience in clinical setting preferred

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), Masters of Health Administration (MHA), or Master of Science (MS) degree

  • 2 years of health care experience in an operational area

  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma experience

  • Experience with Epic Reporting, InfoView and Tableau

  • Demonstrated knowledge of organizational systems, practice standards and regulatory agency requirements
