The Security Manager is a senior member of the Security Services team responsible for managing day-to-day operations of Security Services for Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children's Hospital. This is a security management position for someone who is resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity and change, has the ability to multitask, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and a self-starter.
The Security Manager will support the mission and vision of Providence and Security Services by leading and/or assisting in the development of security programs and initiatives that support the entire region. Security Managers are assigned collateral duties and manage very complex, high risk projects and initiatives. If you join the Security Services team, you'll be part of an incredibly hard working and fun team responsible for delivering exceptional security to the hospitals, clinics, and countless numbers of caregivers, patients, and visitors across the Spokane Service Area.
In this position you will:
Be accountable for Security Services at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital and/or other assign responsibilities.
Provide leadership, direction, and development to Security Supervisors responsible for the day-to-day operations of Security Services in accordance with the appropriate regional and facility policies and procedures.
Assist in developing and maintaining departmental objections, policies, strategic goals, and other quality standards.
Be responsible for activities that are aimed at providing excellent customer service while ensuring a safe environment for all caregivers, patients, and visitors.
Be assigned collateral duties and projects which support regional efforts or other requirements in both the acute care and non-acute care locations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent.
Eight (8) years of experience in law enforcement, security, or related field, including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
Currently holds an industry recognized certification such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or the ability to obtain certifications.
Current driver's license and clear motor vehicle report.
Extensive computer and systems experience as related.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Prior healthcare security experience.
