Providence Health & Services RN Clinical Program Coordinator - Pediatric Oncology *On-call/Supplemental, Day Shift* in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling an RN Clinical Program Coordinator (Pediatric Oncology, Dayshift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Coordinates the resources and works with physicians to identify most appropriate plan of service for the patient, and provides short-term follow-up to monitor progress and outcomes
Collects subjective and objective data from patients, families, physicians, and community members to formulate the plan for identifying the services required
Identifies needs and makes referrals to available resource people (including community resources, social services , CPS, etc.
Provides inservice education classes and instruction to staff as needed
Transition patients as appropriate back to community resource and/or physician office when goals are met, or as appropriate
Work collaboratively with peers in coordinating services requiring multi-specialty approach
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Acceptable references from former employer(s)
Must obtain CPHON certification within 2 years of hire
2 years current pediatric oncology in an acute care, community, or home care setting
Clinical nursing in hematology / oncology with infants and children
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Case Management and/or demonstrated leadership
