Providence Physical Therapy Assistant in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Physical Therapy Assistant (Op Rehab Services Ortho Neuro, Day Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence St Luke's Rehabilitation Institute in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This is an on-call, supplemental float position that would be supporting several St. Luke's teams for leave of absences or employee paid time off. Your schedule would be given to you in advance. This would not include weekend work.

In this position you will:
Assist patients who are recovering from injuries, illness, and surgeries regain movement and manage pain
Work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients
All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Washington State licensed or eligible
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) certification for the Healthcare Provider or obtain within first 30 days of employment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Recent applicable clinical experience
