Providence Health & Services Patient Transporter - Central Transport in Spokane, Washington

Description:

Providence is calling a Patient Transporter (Central Transport, Night Shift, 0.7 FTE/28 hours/week - full benefits) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Ensure the safe movement of patients of all ages to and from hospital medical areas including the lab department, imaging, operating department and patient hospital rooms.

  • Transport lab specimens and equipment, such as stretchers and wheelchairs.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate

  • Experience in a health care setting that involves movement of ambulatory or non-ambulatory patients
