Providence Health & Services Manager - PHC Total Joint Program in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Manager - PHC Total Joint Programs (Clinical Institutes Department, Full Time, 1.0FTE, 80 Biweekly Hours/40 Weekly Hours, Day Shift) to Providence Health Care in Eastern Washington. In this position you will:
Be responsible for creating, operationalizing and managing the PHC total joint replacement (TJR) programs, to include all phases of the patient care pathway and navigation experience, at Sacred Heart Medical Center (SHMC), Holy Family Hospital (HFH), Mt. Carmel Hospital (MCH) and Providence Medical Park ASC (PMP ASC).
Develop programs to increase patient volumes with a positive payer mix while providing a benchmark quality of care delivery within PHC.
Collaborate with other functional managers within PHC that have operational impact on the TJR Programs.
Be responsible for all phases of the patient care pathway with direct responsibility for the overall patient experience (e.g. selection, education/pre-hab to include functional assessment, scheduling, day of surgery, post-surgery physical therapy, post-surgery & discharge patient follow-up, and post-discharge physical therapy coordination).
Work collaboratively with the PHC Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Surgeon Leaders.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current Washington state Registered Nurse (RN) license
Valid Washington State driver's license
Operational experience practicing in acute and outpatient Orthopedic medical care environment with Total Joint Replacement Programs
Experienced and skilled in conflict resolution
Experience working with physician practice operations
Experience as a leader for project team
Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Experience in a team leadership role
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA)
Current experience in the ASC TJR setting
