Providence Health & Services Clinical Quality Coordinator RN in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Clinical Quality Coordinator RN (Quality Assurance, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Health Care in Eastern Washington. In this position you will:
Assist the medical and nursing staff in problem solving, prioritizing, decision making and reaching outcomes for intervention.
Utilize advanced knowledge and clinical skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate systems of care for the specific patient populations, i.e., Sepsis.
Facilitate system wide participation in selected quality improvement activities.
Identify need to develop policies, procedures and protocols and collaborates with appropriate medical, clinical and administrative teams to develop and implement necessary practice guidelines and standards of care.
Assesses clinical performance and provides feedback to medical and nursing staff.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Must hold a current Washington State License
Registered Nurse (RN) with 5 years clinical experience demonstrating increasing responsibility and success in clinical quality improvement
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact in a positive manner with members of the medical staff, organizational leadership and front-line staff
Organizational team-building, relationship building and management skills
Understanding and ability to perform data analysis, basic statistical skills including intermediate knowledge of Excel
Proven experience with performance improvement methodologies
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master degree in relevant field
