THE ROLE
This is an unparalleled opportunity for the Service Area Chief Human Resources Officer, to lead an HR team in the development and alignment of HR strategies consistent with business needs. Accountable for setting and ensuring high qualities and standards for HR service delivery. Serves as trusted advisor to executives. Provides solutions to complex or critical issues. Determines HR implications of changing business needs and recommends actions to be taken. Leads consulting efforts to achieve outcomes. Fosters an environment of continuous improvement by motivating, mentoring, and developing others. Demonstrate the capacity to strategically shape change, promote fiscal responsibility and integration of the core values while meeting the organization's strategies and objectives.

Act as the “chief people officer” and primary steward for the workforce and culture.
Understand the changing external marketplace and how the business “competes,” to develop and implement innovative talent strategies.
Own the internal caregiver experience & the external employer brand.
Cultivate robust, diverse regional talent pipelines at all levels.
Measure success with outcomes tied to the business (e.g., quality, EBIDA, experience). Secondary measures of success include effective & efficient hiring (incl vacancy), development, engagement & retention, organizational health, leadership effectiveness, and the total cost of labor (incl, agency & OT).
Use segmented hiring, development, retention, and labor strategies to create talent outcomes tied to regional priorities.
Ensure organizational strategies are aligned and well communicated, organizational designs produce efficient and effective outcomes , and big change efforts are led to maximize buy-in and support.
Proactively managing workplace dynamics whether caregivers are organized.
Use research, science, and data analytics to inform & make decisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Service Area Chief Human Resources Officer will:
Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders of the local organization, ministry and/or community.
Work collaboratively with shared services and centers of excellences to ensure a seamless, integrated HR experience for core leaders and caregivers.
Develop and administer all labor relations activities and local strategies for assigned area. Coordinate/strategize with Labor & Employment Counsel on local issues and response.
Provide leadership, direction, coaching and development for direct reports.
Influence and lead organizational change.
Develop and implement caregiver (employee) experience strategies and tactics in alignment with System, Region, and Ministry goals.
Develop and administer all labor relations activities and local strategies for assigned area. Coordinate/strategize with Labor & Employment Counsel on local issues and response.
Coach and counsel Senior Leadership on business, labor, and risk mitigation.
System Investments oversees routine financial analysis and financial reporting.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration, HR Management, or related field.
10+ years’ experience in Professional human resources or related experience.
Experience in brokering services in a multi-site/location, multi-line of business.
Previous management experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in Business administration, HR management, or related field.
Human Resources Global Professional Certification.
