Assistant Nurse Manager - Cardiac Care Transplant at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital

This is a full-time, night shift , 40 hours per week position.

Under the general direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) assists the Nurse Manager as a member of the unit managerial team in providing continuity of operational management (including staffing and scheduling), and patient care management of a specified unit/service. The ANM is a Registered Nurse who has successfully completed the unit and department nursing competencies with a comprehensive understanding and competent skill level in patient care principles, and evaluation of work performance in order to assure effective behavior in this leadership role.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Acceptable references from former employer(s)

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Two (2) years experience as RN, with one year in the specialty
Prior nursing management experience
