Providence Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Ambulatory Surgery Center *Part Time* in Spokane Valley, Washington


Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) (Operating Room - Ambulatory Surgery Center, Days, 0.5 FTE) to Physician Management Group in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this position you will:

  • Assess the physiological health status of the patient.

  • Establish realistic and attainable goals based on nursing diagnosis and develop a plan of care based on nursing actions to achieve patient goals.

  • Implement nursing actions in transferring the patient according to plan of care.

  • Participate in patient/family teaching.

  • Follow infection control and safety procedures.

  • Administer drugs and solutions as prescribed.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care.

  • Attend department staff meetings, and educational opportunities.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program

  • Current Washington State Nursing License.

  • Current BLS – Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited)

  • Current ACLS - Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) within 90 days of hire

  • Current PALS- Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) within 90 days of hire

  • 1 year current operating room experience or recent successful completion of an external perioperative program will be considered in lieu of experience

Preferred qualification for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
