Description
As part of the laboratory team, the Courier provides professional customer focused pick-up and delivery services for PMG in the Spokane County area. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services. Responsible for routine and STAT deliveries and pick-ups of laboratory specimens such as blood, urine, sputum, stool and various cultures from satellite offices to the main laboratory and/or reference laboratory. Also responsible for delivery and pick up of important freight items for all satellite clinics: confidential reports, interoffice and postal mail, UPS and FEDEX packages, diagnostic images, and supplies to medical offices, clinics, hospitals and fellow departments in the Providence Health & Services Spokane County area. Ensures the integrity of supplies. Responsible for recording, monitoring, and maintaining the temperature ranges for frozen, ambient, incubated, and refrigerated laboratory specimens.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
