Provider Compensation Operations Specialist PSJH -
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Provider Compensation Operations Specialist PSJH based out our location in Seattle, WA. This role is remote and can only be based in the footprint of Providence in the states of CA, OR, WA, MT, TX, and NM.
We are seeking a Provider Compensation Operations Specialist PSJH who will be accountable for day to day operational work related to ensuring the appropriate set up of providers across the PSJH Enterprise. This role will participate in workflows that touch a variety of different processes, from Medical Director tracking/reporting and management, position and posting creation, reporting and auditing, creation/completion of offer grids, management of the secondary requisition approval process for providers, troubleshooting on boarding and position issues with the HRSC. This role plays a critical role in development, review and updating - either in partnership with the HRSC, TA Technology Team and/or PS D or on their own - of processes and procedures to ensure data integrity across all of our platforms, whether they be HRIS, TA, Contracting or Reporting Tools. Will act as a resource across teams, for information, troubleshooting and training on appropriate workflows/best practices
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Participate in the development, review and update of procedures related to provider workflows including, but not limited to position approvals, builds, posting, offers and reporting.
Build and audit provider positions, ensuring that the attributes are correct to ensure appropriate downstream information flow. Ensures FLSA and pay plan set up is correct. For providers, position management also requires an understanding of time accrual set up so that position set up flows to the appropriate PTO/PTA accrual plan.
Manage all provider postings in the HRIS Talent Acquisition solution. This includes creating, auditing and publishing postings, creating and submitting offers, dispositioning candidates.
Manage the secondary approval process (PRF) for providers. This involves tracking active provider PRFs, creating reports, working with the local regional designees (typically CFO or equivalent) to document approval and release PRF's for positing.
Interface with HR team to request one time and recurring reports, create upload files, position mapping documents, etc.
Serve as a subject matter expert within the PS D/Physician Compensation team on HR systems, structures and workflow. Trains and updates teams on process changes, as appropriate.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent educ/experience
2 years experience with HR systems (HRIS, TA, Benefits, etc.)
- 2 years experience with process development/process mapping
