Providence Health & Services PACE Operations Manager - Alder (Kent) in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling a Manager of PACE Operations (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence ElderPlace in Kent, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This is a new PACE site located at 1404 Central Ave. South in Kent, WA!
In this position you will:
Create an effective and efficient design and delivery of integrated programs, services, and staffing to accomplish PEPS operational and financial objectives; including leveraging patient care interventions and outcomes to ensure full reimbursement.
Manage day-to-day participant programs to include: adult day center and clinic operations.
Ensure that the needs of the participants are met and fulfills responsibility for maintaining quality and assurance of standards through sound management practices and effective utilization of resources.
Manage grievances that participants and/or caregivers make related to their care, comfort, safety and satisfaction according to regulatory and organizational standards.
Maintain confidentiality of all patient demographics, medical and financial information at all times.
Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information.
Required qualifications for this position:
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration or a health care-related field
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification within 30 days of hire
Food Handler's Permit or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
Must have automobile, driver’s license and auto insurance
Demonstrated skills in healthcare management, budgeting, staff supervision, and staff selection
Preferred qualifications for this position:
Experience with team-building and interpersonal conflict management
4 years experience managing services for older adults, particularly elders who require assistance with activities of daily living and have complex and chronic medical needs
Demonstrated experience in care management, population management and/or evidenced-based clinical care
