Providence Operations Analyst in Seattle, Washington
Providence St. Joseph is calling a Operations Analyst to location in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking Operations Analyst who will be responsible for development of business design reports, analytics, and documented changes related to current and strategic tactics to improve performance. The Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing and preparing operational data into a useful format so business owners can easily interpret the results to determine what/if action is required to meet current or strategic business needs.
The Operations Analyst must be able to understand organizational strategies and ensure alignment of the metrics with the strategy for improvement opportunity identification. This position requires ongoing relationships with caregivers at all levels across ASCs. The Operations Analyst will actively participate in operational improvement projects and priorities as assigned.
This position performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects Providence Health & Services mission and philosophy.
In this position, you will:
Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure data and dashboards are presented in an accurate and easily digestible format
Analyze and report on service delivery and performance metrics in a proactive and timely manner. Take initiative to identify trends/issues and recommend changes for improvement.
Work with ASC Leaders to create process improvement and implementation strategies for operational improvement. Provide analysis, production support and evaluation of the effectiveness of above strategies and recommend improvements relating to metrics, staffing, workflows, services offered, supply chain, etc
Provide project management support for reporting and operations projects
Partner with team to understand the current workflows and practices that result in the data in reports. Collaborates on ways to improve consistency of data in the system
Collaborate with Healthcare Intelligence on the development of new, innovative reporting and analytics solutions to help adapt to the changing healthcare environment and new models of care. Works with Healthcare Intelligence to solve issues or problems with existing reports
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Information Services
2 years in a healthcare setting or field
Demonstrated experience in the use of automated reporting tools
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
Strong knowledge of statistics, data analysis and data bases
Effective written communication skills as appropriate for the needs of the audience
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Information Services
Extensive experience with Epic, Vantage, InfoView, Trilliant, or Tableau
Operational experience is highly
