Providence Health & Services Kronos System Analyst in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling a Kronos System Analyst to one of our locations in Renton, WA, Seattle, WA, Redmond, WA, Portland, OR, or Irvine, CA.
The Kronos System Analyst will provide technical and analytical support for HR and related areas for information system needs. Identify, design and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of human resource and related financial data. Act as the liaison between business units, application vendors and IS for system integrations, enhancements and issue fixes . Identify basic business requirements, design, develop and document processes, audits, and reports, conduct system testing and support HR system/data functions including reorganizations, data uploads, upgrades and system administration.

In this position you will:
Serve as a system super user knowledgeable in one or more HRIS modules/functional areas and contribute to design and support processes for HR systems.
Provide hands-on tier 2 or 3 operational support for system or data issues, system/process questions, reporting and change requests as needed.
Investigate, resolve and perform follow-up tasks on basic system and data related problems.
Collaborate with and support HRIS leader/Sr. Analysts in the maintenance of configuration for supported HR systems including but not limited to setup, data and process reviews and audits.
Act as work stream lead on projects of simple-medium complexity.
Document data mapping and interface functional specifications for system interfaces and data conversion; Coordinate between vendor and business teams to troubleshoot, test and deploy interfaces and data updates.
May provide on-call support during after hours for critical production issues and coordinate issue resolution and communication needs across functional and technical teams as needed, as required.
Work with HR staff and other customers to analyze and meet information needs through established or new reports or queries.
Design, develop and validate ad hoc and customer reports and queries through system reporting tools, Crystal Reports, MS-Addins and other technology.
Develop test plans for small and medium changes. Execute test plans to validate that system fixes are complete and accurate and the system enhancements function as designed.
Document and maintain process workflows, system decisions, designs and procedures.
Assist HRIS Leader/Sr. analysts in system upgrade and implementation activities as directed.
Monitor and maintain security information for HR information systems in adherence of policies and procedures.
Administer, audit, and monitor HR systems transactions and reports to ensure data integrity, reconcile discrepancies and identify corrective actions needed to improve data quality.
Provide ongoing assessments for tools and technologies used to generate reports or streamline processes.
Assist in the development, update and adherence of HRIS policies, guidelines, templates and procedures.
Participate regularly in professional activities to keep abreast of changes and new developments in Human Resources and HRIS.
Create and may also conduct training for core business users and internal HRIS teams on HR applications under the guidance of HRIS/business team leads.
Required qualifications this position include:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field or equivalent educ/experience.
2 years experience with Kronos.
Experience in reporting tools and techniques for HR, payroll and related data for large, complex organizations.
Healthcare industry experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Kronos – Experience 5 years or more preferred.
Hands-on Configuration & Support experience in timekeeping, scheduling system – 3 years or more preferred.
Experience with multi-company environment with varying types of staff (different unions, non-contractual staff where some have alternate work schedules, etc.).
Experience with Health care preferred.
Experience as a Business Analyst with solid understanding of Business Requirements Gathering, Evaluating Data Sources, Translating Requirements into Specifications, Application Design.
Evaluate user needs and recommend best practices to implement new Kronos functionality, create presentation materials and lead presentations, develop requirements documentation, create business process flows and documentation.
Experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and documentation of Test Cases. Expertise in designing and developing Test Plans and Test Scripts.
