Providence Health & Services Financial Analyst PSJH in Seattle, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Financial Analyst PSJH to our location in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to be a member of the service area team and sit on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding provider performance and compensation as well as the financial performance of our On Demand (urgent care and ExpressCare) clinics. This role will need to analyze and report on key financial and business trends for the organization, and collect and share financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Gather and analyze financial and operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance. Pro-actively review, analyze, monitor, and report on operational, financial, and reports.
Monitor provider performance and determine monthly provider compensation.
Develop financial proformas and value propositions. Provide continued measurement of actual performance against current project budgets, original project funding, and other measures as appropriate.
Support business leaders with annual operating budget and long range plan, including capital budget and financial forecasts.
Work with Accounting team to conduct regular review of monthly accounting close.
Prepare various analyses and recommendations used by business leaders in making informed operating decisions.
Review and verification of productivity metrics and statistics.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance related field or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of 0 years analytical and business experience or the ability to apply business knowledge and analytical skills (4 years of directly related experience may substitute for the required degree).
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years healthcare related experience.
