Providence is calling a Registered Aide Certified or Registered with Nurse Delegation Competency (CNA) (0.4 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Heritage House Assisted Living at Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington.
The Registered Aide Certified or Registered with Nurse Delegation Competency (CNA) assist participants/residents/patients/clients who are functionally, physically and/or socially impaired with those activities of daily living agreed upon in their Service Plan, at the same time fostering independence, freedom of choice, and dignity and safety. The function of the position actively incorporates the Mission and Vision of Providence Health Systems.
In this position you will:
Assist participants/residents/patients/clients with scheduled and unscheduled personal care (oral care, bathing, hair and nail care, dressing, perineal care, toileting/incontinence care).
Maintain and utilize knowledge of participants/residents/patients/clients history, health status, strengths, needs and personal preferences to better serve them.
Work with participants/residents to develop scheduling of daily care based on the preferences, past history and/or lifestyle; integrate this scheduling into Service plan.
Provide medication assistance to residents and document on medication administration record (MAR).
Perform delegated nursing tasks under the direction of an RN.
Assist resident with ambulation and transfer as needed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification or Washington State Nursing Assistant Registration
Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
70 hours Basic Training or within 120 days of hire.
Mental Health Specialty Training or within 120 days of hire.
Dementia Specialty Training or within 120 days of hire.
Preferred qualification for this position includes:
- Six (6) months assisted living experience.
