Providence is calling a Workforce Program Manager – PSJH to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Workforce Program Manager – PSJH to support the Workforce Intelligence team by being the process manager and analyst for operational workforce planning by working with Human Resource Directors, HR Strategic Partners and other business partners by gathering future workforce needs for the Health System. The Workforce Program Manager is responsible for gathering workforce needs information, working with business partners to understand the technology and methods for data input and analysis and elevating risks and opportunities regarding the workforce through the Visier analytics platform. The Workforce Program Manager is responsible for analyzing future workforce trends and needs, escalating issues up to appropriate senior management, and designing and recommending mitigation plans in times of major expansion or reduction in force activities. The Workforce Program Manager will also be the key representative from the Workforce Intelligence Team for all workforce planning during mergers and acquisitions.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Key strategic partner with regional HR Directors, HR Strategic Partners and Recruiting to help understand current operational and future workforce needs.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with all business partners through various channels.
Provide mentoring and training to business partners on operational workforce planning needs and analysis.
Develop and refine personal Providence business and workforce expertise to enhance the relevance of analytic outcomes.
Identify compelling trends in existing data and collaborate with other members of the Workforce Intelligence team to develop project proposals.
Execute analytic strategies to help Providence adapt to the changing healthcare environment and new models of care.
Create visual reports for core leaders and executives that “tell a story” and facilitate data-driven business decisions.
Work with business partners to help train on how to use data-capturing and workforce planning tools.
Provide workforce planning expertise for mergers and acquisitions
Scenario planning for growth and reduction in force cycles, including business and operational impact mitigation strategies
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business (including international, supply chain, etc.), human resources, finance, etc.
3 years experience directly supporting workforce planning or other facet of human resources analytics.
Knowledge of industry standard report writing tools, such as: Excel, SQL, Crystal Reports, etc.
Experience with Visier or other business intelligence analytics tools.
Knowledge of visualization best practices.
Knowledge of problem solving techniques and root cause analysis on complex problems.
Strong knowledge of business operations and process improvement methods.
Very strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Very strong relationship building, communication, and mentoring skills across all job levels.
Ability to help business customers understand the impact of analytical findings to his/her business operations and help identify ways in which to mitigate or enhance operational impact.
Highly developed analytical capabilities sufficient to solve complex issues.
Ability to independently prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and manage complex projects.
Ability to talk through options, negotiate disagreements, communicate status, and escalate problems appropriately.
Understanding of key business processes and ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
Ability to integrate data from multiple, complex data sources to produce a cohesive reporting and analytics solution.
Ability to summarize and describe complex data results to customers in a way they can use to make operational or clinical decisions.
Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions. Ability to apply appropriate amount of rigor commensurate to project risk.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to work in situations with different content owners and with multiple regions where there may be some conflict.
Ability to work to achieve consensus within a group on the direction for reporting development.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Ability to make timely decisions effectively under pressure on a consistent basis.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years of Project management.
Certifications in PHR or SPHR, Data structure, analysis, or visualization tools
