Providence Health & Services Talent Consulting Director in Renton, Washington

Description:

Providence is calling a Talent Consulting Director. This position will be primarily virtual, with occasional in-person client group engagement and Talent Acquisition team connections in future state, as our hybrid work model evolves.

We are seeking a Talent Consulting Director who will provide a broad range of strategic leadership, consultation, and account management to business leadership, HR, and RPO vendor partners. This experienced Talent Acquisition leader will create talent acquisition strategies for their assigned area within a specific market/brand/business line/institute while ensuring alignment with system level strategies and hiring practices.

  • Proactively communicates vision, translates business strategies into talent acquisition solutions, for their area of responsibility, that create business value and have a critical impact

  • Accountable for high level coordination and ensuring high quality and standards for TA service delivery

  • Serves as trusted advisor to business executives and collaborates with leadership stakeholders to ensure areas of accountability are focused on the most critical needs of the organization

  • Delivers hiring results through outsourced vendor partner(s) filling the forecasted demand

  • Ensures the overall recruiting approach and ongoing activities are in alignment with the enterprise TA strategy and provides thought leadership to influence within TA to drive the best outcomes for the business

  • Develops recruiting strategies specific to area of responsibility based on operational workforce planning through deep understanding of their business and market in alignment with Providence strategic recruiting plans and the core vision of creating a stellar candidate experience

  • Ensures Core Leader engagement and adoption of hiring practices in partnership with HR, business leadership and RPO partners

  • Communicates TA policies and practices to ensure RPO partners have information to successfully execute on service delivery

  • Serves as a point of escalation for Tier 3 issue resolution between the business, HR and RPO partners

  • Engages with business and RPO partners to provide strategic insights and consulting related to TA service delivery in their area

  • Collaborates with the leadership of Providence, including HR, Shared Services, Centers of Expertise, and with an emphasis on improving business performance through people by improving attraction, recruiting and pre-boarding coordination and collaboration between all parties

  • Stewards the candidate and caregiver experience through successful attraction, recruiting and onboarding experiences

  • Ensures the quality of Talent Acquisition service delivery through effective collaboration with the business, RPO partners, TA strategy and planning, and TA operations.

  • Fosters an environment of continuous improvement by leading, motivating, mentoring, and developing others

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resource management, organization development, organizational psychology or related field, or equivalent education/experience

  • 10 or more years leading HR or TA functions/teams, having developed strategies and business cases, consulted with executives, and gained a wide range of experiences and expertise to improve the delivery of HR and/or TA services

  • 10 or more years in Talent Solutions expertise, having broad experience across multiple talent areas of discipline from process improvement, marketing, technology, data and recruiting

  • 5 years leading complex projects aligned with organization strategies within medium to large companies. Experience in brokering services in a multi-site/location, multi-line of business

  • 5 years proven knowledge, experience, and success in having created, led and measured recruitment strategies that build talent pipelines and successfully fill hiring goals through workforce planning and data, attraction, marketing, sourcing, selection and hiring consultation and execution

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree

  • PHR or SPHR certification
