We are seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Candidate Pipeline Development to partner with TA leaders to set the direction for a strategic, differentiated, competitive advantage to addressing the nurse shortage and low talent availability positions by building talent pipelines proactively and nurturing passive candidates. The manager leverages data, competitive intelligence research and market labor information to develop a sourcing and marketing strategy for the candidate category, segmentation or specific position to yield leads and create a pipeline of qualified candidates. Manages recruitment, sourcing, marketing, lead generation and management strategies and day-to-day operations across the enterprise and multiple brands to engagement in a national approach. Develops and implements continuous improvement of processes, tools, and solutions. Manages the execution, adoption and sustainment of ongoing strategies and solutions. Develops high performing staff who build candidate pools for multiple disciplines, with a system-wide scope. Extends employment brand through marketing and candidate experience. Manages stakeholder relationships and partners with HR, core leaders, TA, marketing and executives to cultivate relationships and achieve business results. Sets goals, leverages data and metrics, leads projects and manages direct reports in an inspiring way that encourages professional growth, engagement, and high performance.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage sourcing, marketing lead generation and management efforts for all positions within assigned for system wide and critical position impact. Measure performance, productivity and ROI and take action to improve results as needed. Develop, lead and manage the design and implementation of relevant strategies, solutions and plans to ensure a continual pipeline of high quality, excellent talent for clients in assigned groups. Contribute to the development and monitoring of annual TA budget and all elements directly allocated to assigned functional groups. Assure integrity and consistency of TA systems, processes and policies, working closely with others to implement changes to practices as needed to meet organizational, regulatory or legal requirements.
Effectively balance standardization and efficiency of operations with creative solutions to individual or collective client needs. Works with customer groups to understand, calibrate and exceed expectations. Resolve business challenges that require escalation and collaboration across internal departments and vendors/suppliers. Research and stay current on market trends, benchmark data, best practices and innovative solutions to drive future strategies and relevant solutions. Consult and drive recommendations, strategies, solutions and tactics to improve operations, solutions and results. Lead and champion change management and adoption of new tools and process improvements to optimize the recruiting process, solutions and experience.
Develop sourcing, pipeline and lead metrics/ goals in alignment with department goals and business outcomes. Create presentations, business cases and data based reports to present to business leaders. Develop capabilities of staff, building on individual interests, skills and competencies with an eye on retention, recognition and succession creating an environment of continuous learning, improvement and development. Ensures each member of the team is fully capable to deliver results, improve processes and procedures and maintain expected performance, engagement and customer satisfaction levels. Identify, hire and allocate resources to meet the objectives of the business. Collaborate with other TA Managers to broker talent across PSJH at a system level.
Hold staff accountable for utilizing technology systems, data and metrics, processes, assessment and selection techniques and consultation skills. Provide feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team members. Continually monitor and assess the performance of the staff, recruiting systems, processes and data and reporting to provide recommendations for improvement as needed. Serve as a coach, mentor and trainer to other Talent Acquisition and HR colleagues across PSJH.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience.
8 years experience in TA, HR, recruiting, sourcing, recruiting operations, marketing or sales lead generation.
3 years experience managing direct reports, overseeing and measuring the work of multiple staff members, including providing performance feedback, data, coaching and professional development to support achievement of results and goals.
1 years experience leading recruitment strategies, solutions and projects aligned with organization strategies within medium to large companies.
Intermediate to advanced MS Office. Experience with data and information systems like ATS or CRMs along with reporting and data analysis to measure effectiveness of function and achievement of TA Metrics.
Ability to evaluate, develop, and manage employees in a way that motivates them to grow and be their best. Strong interpersonal and conversational acumen and writing skills.
Proven aptitude with multiple software and/or web-based recruiting applications, tools and systems. Basic understanding of project management terminology and methodology.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement. Effectively uses work time to accomplish team objectives. Ability to interface and develop effective internal and external partnerships, and learning communities.
Ability to work on multiple projects while managing deadlines and frequent interruptions/competing priorities. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Ability to deliver results utilizing strong critical thinking skills and work ethic. Team player with ability to work with various stakeholders and levels of employees/executives.
Ability to identify, hire and allocate resources to meet the objectives of the business. Proven ability to achieve business results and show results and ROI through data and metrics. Ability to apply consultative and influencing skills to achieve positive stakeholder and change management.
Ability to develop, execute and measure a recruitment and/or solutions strategy and project plan to build talent pipelines, solutions and services to meet the needs of the business. Proven success utilizing a variety of methods to solve various business challenges.
Possible areas of expertise would be research, sourcing candidate/leads using networking, social media, events, and tools. And/or developing programs or processes such as technology, training, employee referrals, and diversity, military and professional outreach. Proven ability to lead cross functional and complex initiatives and projects to successful completion.
Experience consulting with executives on complex initiatives, market trends, business challenges, processes, partnerships and service levels. Experience creating presentations, business cases and data analysis and presenting to executive leadership.
Proficient in MS Office suite products and experience using Applicant Tracking Systems or similar databases.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in Healthcare. Experience leveraging competitive and market labor intelligence research and resources to understand the candidate marketplace for hard to fill roles.
Participation in an HR professional organization preferred (e.g. PHR/SPHY, AIRS Certified Recruiter, NW Recruiter Association, ERE, NAHCR Certified Recruiter).
