Providence Health & Services Retirement Analyst-PSJH in Renton, Washington
Providence is calling a Retirement Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.
The Retirement Analyst will provide key support to the System Manager, Retirement Ops & HR Analytics by playing a significant role in the areas of analytical and reporting support for retirement plan and the larger Human Resources group by building and generating standing and ad hoc operational reports, service analytics, payroll and audit reports.
In this position you will:
Provide the bulk of the operational reports and service analytics, including ad hoc payroll and audit reports
Complete special projects designed to improve Retirement operations, including identifying opportunities for standardization.
Work with Audit and Compliance Analyst to compile financial and statistical compliance information and other reports for initial review by retirement management team.
Provide query and reporting expertise to facilitate analytical research using Lawson, all retirement applications, SQL and other applications as needed (Hyperion, Strata products, Crystal Reports, etc.)
Develop operations improvement recommendations for consideration by management; and take responsibility for successful implementation of approved recommendations as assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or Business or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in working with employee retirement benefit plans.
A minimum of three (3) years experience in performing financial and operational audit and compliance functions, with strong preference given to candidates performing such duties with employee retirement benefit plans.
CEBS, SPHR, PHR and/or CPA preferred
