Providence Health & Services Principal Consultant ITM – PSJH in Renton, Washington
Providence is calling a Principal Consultant ITM – PSJH - to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Principal Consultant Integrated Talent Management (ITM) to provide expert level consultation to senior leaders and operational delivery staff. The Principal Consultant will partner with the Director, Caregiver Experience in applying the research and insights into education, actionable tools and user-friendly resources that drive higher sustainable engagement, retention, quality, and patient experience. Our key audience are Core Leaders. We work in partnership with key stakeholders in Mission, HR Field, Delivery, and the CoEs to influence PSJH programs, policies, and behaviors among all our leaders who deliver the Experience and serve our Mission. This individual will drive strategic solutions working with the ITM delivery and Ops to ensure successful development and implementation, operating as a subject matter expert.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provides expert level strategic consulting capability across initiative lifecycle (e.g., assessing business strategy/challenge, scoping and aligning solution, solution build out and framework).
This is a unique role in the Center of Excellence where Organizational Development, Talent Management, Change Management, Project Management and most importantly Caregiver Engagement skills will be essential.
Provide input to strategy and design on all products and services delivered by the Caregiver Experience (CGX) CoE
Lead or partner with the Director on Caregiver Experience Summit / Forums to support education, behaviors, dialogue
Develop Core Leader portal in partnership with IT and other CoEs
Consult with executive, shared services, and region leadership on the application and influence of CGX
Partner with Mission, HR CoEs (Diversity, Leadership, CG Development, etc.) and Marcom to design and deploy coordinated programs, policies and communication
Design and set up a CGX Champion Network, partnering with the Care Experience Team (Provider, PX, and CGX alignment)
Design and deploy toolkits from content to delivery, partnering with other CoEs and HR Operations, as needed
Partner with (or provide input to)the Program Manager on:
Survey design, administration, reporting and analytics as it relates to strategy and design and the overlap of education, tools, and resources
Conducts assessment of organizational talent needs. Use the strategy as the driving force to advise on, design, and implement solutions; working as the SME to Operations and Delivery shared services resources. Understand and analyze data and success measure to determine effectiveness of solution with the region and or system.
Responsible for a full suite of services, working at the system, region and executive levels. Ability to work with Sr Management to drive subject matter expertise and consultation; as well as acting as a trusted advisor to our c-suite executives. Ability to drive and influence solutions that align with our organizational goals and strategies. Perseverance when working through and driving new ideas and solutions working as a change agent/champion to help bring workforce along to new state of optimization.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Development, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or Business Administration
5 years practitioner with demonstrated ability to add value to strategic objectives of an organization using a variety of talent management and learning & development methodologies
5 years • Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of talent development methods, and in the design, implementation, and execution of development solutions across a variety of functions.
5 years’ Experience with all aspects of talent including Performance Management, Strategic Workforce development, Talent scorecard/succession, Accelerated Development and Learning
Ability to anticipate future trends/consequences and create innovative solutions. Able to analyze and implement quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively.
Proven project Management skills- Assessment, design, implementation of large scale complex projects.
Proven ability working with C- suite executives focused on executive development, succession, talent and learning solutions. Ability to work as a trusted advisor within the talent space to support the implementation of key talent and learning programs.
Can operate independently, and uses a high degree of innovation, creativity, and resourcefulness when providing solutions. Is a do-er and proactively can act as a practitioner when needed- developing solutions, influencing, building readiness and consulting at the highest level.
Advanced level facilitation skills, perform as and SME on leading, mentoring, and up skill delivery staff including HR professionals, cross functional core leaders and other to help deploy new solutions.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in Business, Organizational Psychology
Certification in Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), Human Capital Strategist (HCS), or other relevant certification program.
