Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Medical Device Integration Analyst PSJH to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking an Medical Device Integration Analyst PSJH to be responsible for delivering business value by leading and providing technical analysis within the IS organization regarding biomed systems integration and operational activities. The work involved is usually highly important to the business objectives of the enterprise, high-risk and/or time sensitive. Responsible for the configuration, implementation, testing, operation and administration of the applications, hardware, and configuration of systems that support the automatic capture of biomedical data such as vital signs and related parameter data from biomedical devices into a standard format for integration into an Epic electronic medical record. All duties must be performed in a manner that promotes success, and reflects the Providence St. Joseph Health mission, philosophy, and core values.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Perform analysis of macro-level workflows related to impact of biomed device integration changes in support of new or existing Epic implementation.
Coordinate activities of project team and act as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced departmental staff, operations staff, and regional resources.
Perform operational activities in support of large scale Epic implementation projects and programs requiring technical coordination between various IS or business disciplines.
Perform assessment activities which include identifying, assessing, designing, implementing, and supporting moderately complex biomed technology integration initiatives across the enterprise.
Provide or contribute to necessary data, information and process documentation as needed to support other IS teams and clinical operations staff. Author resulting communications and documentation.
Builds and participates in test plan development. Acts as a resource during testing and upgrades; coordinates with appropriate individuals.
Plans and coordinates downtime, change management, maintenance, and upgrades.
Develops and executes work plans that are coordinated with other work plans. Recommends adjustments to ensure successful delivery on commitments and efficient use of resources. Handles risk and uncertainty.
Ability to travel as required.
Perform rotational on-call responsibilities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Healthcare or equivalent education/experience.
5 years hands on experience in biomed integration, network engineering or infrastructure software implementation.
