Providence Health & Services Clinical Program Services Senior Project Manager in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Clinical Program Services Senior Project Manager to our location in Renton, WA.
The Senior Project Manager is accountable for large, diverse and complex projects in the areas of enterprise-wide clinical content review and implementation; interdisciplinary practice initiatives; magnet and pathway to excellence programs; quality improvement and other strategic projects. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor and Clinical Program Services leadership.
The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are planned and executed in a manner that supports the Providence mission; integration and collaboration across the health system; and meets the needs of the organization.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage client expectations from initial problem identification and through the complete project lifecycle.
Develop and gain sponsor approval and signoff of the project charter and work breakdown schedule.
Manage projects and programs with increased complexity, strategic priority and/or visibility, system and/or regional priority.
Coordinate and track the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies, and schedule.
Provide scope, risk, and issue management.
Develop, initiate, and manage communication plan.
Identify, deliver, and document organizational, application and human workflows that contribute to policy and procedure updates throughout each project.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree plus five to seven years’ experience in information technologies, project management, healthcare administration or clinical field required or equivalent experience.
Expertise and experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
Experience incorporating process improvement methodologies into large scale projects; Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Workout and Lean education training required as soon as available or within the 1st year on the job.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in a related field.
Six sigma black belt training.
