The scope is both broad, across a business unit and deep, in terms of technical, process and continuous improvement required to build and maintain an enterprise wide IS service. This role is both enterprise in nature and startup in mindset because we are creating and building this IS division from the ground floor. • Advocates the IS roadmap and vision.

  • Designs components of a service delivery system that defines tools, hardware, processes, role assignments, dependencies, and documentation, resulting in a complete system that supports service delivery and meets KPIs.

  • Creates detailed project plans including milestones, testing, documentation and implementation.

  • Communicates data and information among stakeholders and applies advanced diagnostic expertise during service issues to restore service with minimal disruption to the caregiver and business.

  • Owns the problem, solving it once and for all. Extrapolates from past experiences and delivers innovations.

  • Actively takes part in disaster recovery drills. Participates as needed in incident response management during nonworking hours.

  • Represents Service Engineering in work with stakeholders to create a cost model and reporting system that enables the forecasting, tracking and reporting of costs generated by business and caregiver-usage scenarios. Maximizes the effectiveness of financial resources.

  • Uses expertise to design process or technology solutions that identify and resolve platform, system, deployment, and environmental issues prior to solution release, and that ensure an on-time release and measureable improvements against KPIs.

  • Triages problems and prioritizes them against key risks to the business. Drives the adoption of a solution across multiple service teams.

  • Ensures that production solutions are reliable, resilient, secure and effective and continuously monitored.

  • Establishes service metrics, based on a deep understanding of service businesses, and works with partner organizations (such as Support Engineering and Caregiver Service and Support) to analyze data, and identify and drive service improvements.

  • Analyzes operational cost.
