Providence Health & Services Executive Assistant in Redmond, Washington


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Executive Assistant to our location in Redmond, WA. *remote for now but needs to travel to Redmond office when company allows in person work

Executive Assistant will be responsible for performing ongoing administrative services supporting senior technology executives (SVP/CTO/VP) as part of Providence IS organization. The activities of this position include managing schedules, correspondence, meeting logistics, new employee on-boarding, other logistical matters like travel, expenses etc., and special projects. In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Work with supervisor to develop plans needed to carry out assigned activities and projects. Exercises independent judgment with regard to planning, organizing, and scheduling work.

  • Oversee the coordination of the office of the individual(s) they support. May involve supervision of other administrative employees.

  • Perform administrative functions in support of meetings as assigned. Support activities include timely collection and preparation of draft agendas; dissemination of meeting materials; coordination of meeting records, evaluations and follow-up reports.

  • Schedule meetings (group and individual), travel, and outside commitments.

  • Use word processing software, spreadsheet software, and various presentation software options to complete complex assignments with timeliness and accuracy. Exercises independent judgment and decision-making in handling incoming and outbound information and material.

  • Position provide appropriate referrals to matters as they arise, or informs their supervisor(s) when a situation warrants direct attention.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years of university or college training in English, liberal arts or related subjects; or graduation from a technical program in secretarial or office support services or equivalent education/experience.

  • 4 years experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant, including up to 3 years working directly for a manager or executive.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently

  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills

  • Strong working knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Team player with strong interpersonal and time management skills
