Providence Health & Services Program Assistant - Utilization Review in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Program Assistant (1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
The Program Assistant performs a variety of specialized clerical duties in support of administrative operations of departmental programs or projects. Work at this level typically involves a variety of complex clerical tasks requiring substantial knowledge of the department’s work commitments and projects.
In this position you will:
Assist the manager and other staff members with project support duties which include tracking expenditures, producing statistical and summary reports and reviewing and monitoring invoices.
Perform administrative detail work on special projects or programs requiring specialized knowledge of the programs as well as composecorrespondence, reports, forms, and other documents.
Coordinate financial issues, including insurance claims, with the appropriate departments, contractors, and others.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associates Degree in Business or Office Administration, Accounting, or a related field
At least one year of clerical experience, preferred with insurance companies and claims
Valid Washington State Driver's License in good standing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, preferred with computer spreadsheet and database programs
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, listening, and written communication skills
