Providence Physical Therapist in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
The Physical Therapist, as directed by a health care practitioner, performs PT evaluations, establishes treatment plans with goals, provides treatment, delegates specific treatments, determines appropriate equipment needs and performs discharge activities. The ideal candidate will have Pelvic Heath Therapy experience to help continue supporting our patients in that area.
In this position you will:
Provide initial patient evaluation in accordance to physician request in order to initiate appropriate treatment, which is reasonable in the terms of accepted practice and necessary to recovery of function for the following age groups as applicable: Neonate; Pediatric; Adolescent; Adult; Older Adult
Establishes treatment goals and plan of care based on assessment and test results
Provides therapy treatment to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
Utilizes modalities, procedures, mobilizations, exercise activities and tests as appropriate to age and culture.
Selects and delegates appropriate portions of the treatment plan and program to supportive personnel based on their assessed competence. Aware of supportive personnel’s abilities and skills
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree and a Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
Current Physical Therapy (PT) licensure in Washington State
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Pelvic Health experience
