Providence is calling a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Device (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Cardiology Associates for Providence Medical Group Southwest Washington in Olympia, WA.
This position provides professional nursing care for patients in an outpatient cardiac setting.

In this position you will:
Basic ECG rhythm interpretation
Explains procedures and treatments to patients and/or families and provides guidance as appropriate
Gather appropriate data and assist Device RN and provider in identification of needs and problems relevant to device function
Interrogating and programming of Medtronic, Abbott (St Jude Medical), Boston Scientific, and Biotronik pacemakers and ICD's per protocol
Document accurately, promptly and appropriately according to clinic policies and standards
Collaborate with clinical staff for ongoing patient care
Troubleshoot device functions and reprogram setting in accordance to clinic protocol
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current LPN licensure
Current BLS certificate
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Two (2) years of formal education beyond high school
One (1) year EP experience
One (1) year experience with implanted cardiac devices
Three (3) experience working in a cardiology office or acute cardiology unit
A certificate of completion from an approved Cardiac Device Technical School/Arrhythmia Technical Institute within 6 months of hire
