Providence Health & Services Implant Coordinator in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling an Implant Coordinator to Providence Health & Services in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking an Implant Coordinator to handle all aspects of acquisition, delivery, return and reconciliation of surgical implants and related instruments used within the operating room primarily for Orthopedic and Neurological surgeries.
In this position you will:
Work cooperatively with all stakeholders including suppliers, surgical services leadership, materials management, sterile processing and surgical services business office staff to assure timely services and accurate billing.
Maintain appropriate inventory for all implants to support case volume.
Oversee proper storage of implants and related instrumentation.
Maintain and actively utilize the vendor tracking system and instrument tracking system in daily workflow.
Facilitate the instrument and equipment intra-facility loan/borrow process.
Anticipate procedural needs of specialty services by reviewing surgical schedule in advance with appropriate surgical services leadership.
Assure availability of instruments and implants prior to item of use, and assures timely delivery to the correct operating room.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Ability to work within tight timeframes, meet strict deadlines and drive multiple projects to successful completion
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Completion of formal training program in Central Supply Technician or Surgical Technologist course
2 years experience in Operating Room, Sterile Processing, or Material Management Dept(s)
