Providence Health & Services Director Physician Practice - Physician Support Services and Development in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling an Operations Director (1.0 FTE, Days) to work at Providence Medical Group in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking an operations director with a combination of big picture strategic thinking along with practical multi-specialty operational experience to be a dyad leader of a significant portion of our specialty practices in the Southwest Washington area.
In this position you will:
Be an active member of PMG-SW executive leadership team (ELT) developing and adjusting medical group strategies and operational tactics in direct support of Southwest integrated service area objectives.
Advise PMG Executives, Medical Director and Specialty Clinical Lead/Clinic Managers regarding administrative and operational matters.
Lead or participate in PMG special projects, committees or task forces as requested.
Partner with PMG Section Chiefs on matters that potentially impact clinic provider's professional activities or performance.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in business or healthcare related)
Five years of physician practice management experience in a management level position.
Experience in a complex healthcare delivery environment, including clinic operations, financial management, quality management and risk management in a large medical group.
Ability to transport self to and from clinics, hospital sites, and various regional locations.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters in Health Administration, MBA or health related field.
Demonstrated success with developing strategies and operational tactics.
Business plan development and financial analysis acumen.
Multi-specialty medical practice operations experience.
