Providence Health & Services Biomedical Technician II (temp) - Biomedical Engineering in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a temporary Biomedical Technician II (1.0 FTE, Variable shifts) to Providence St. Peter’s in Olympia, WA.
To work collaboratively with professional and clinical staff with the goal of insuring all patient related medical equipment entering Providence St. Peter Hospital is well maintained and safe for patient usage .
In this position you will:
Performs inspection, testing, calibration, maintenance, repair of biomedical mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
Maintains biomedical and other electronic equipment to a quality level that permits safe, accurate and dependable operation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering or equivalent education and experience
Specialized training and experience in at least one area of Biomedical Engineering, i.e., Surgery, Lab, Special Care, Dialysis, Diagnostic Imaging, etc.
2 years experience in a biomedical equipment maintenance program
Pre ferred qualifications for this position include:
Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician by the International Certification Commission
A driver's abstract indicating a valid Washington State Driver's license in good standing
