Providence PET CT Technologist in Lacey, Washington

Description:

Providence is calling a PET CT Technologist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Centralia Hospital in Lacey, WA.

Performs all PET/CT procedures and all related patient care to help obtain a diagnosis providing the best possible care for the patient.

In this position you will:

  • Scans independently as a PET/ CT Technologist, completes all paperwork & tracking associated with PET/CT exams.

  • Communicates clearly with patients, family, coworkers and physicians. Interacts professionally with patients, family members, staff and physicians.

  • Recognizes staff shortages and surplus and initiates alternatives.

  • Incorporates knowledge of growth and development into care when performing exams.

  • Demonstrates ability to respond appropriately to emergency clinical situations.

  • Able to adjust care and communication based on age.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology qualifying for ARRT/NMTCB certification

  • Current ARRT(N), NMTCB Registration or CNMT (certified nuclear medicine technologist).

  • American Heart Association BLS Certification (AHA BLS).

  • One (1) experience in general Nuclear Medicine.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Cross sectional Anatomy courses.

  • Experience in PET/CT.
