Providence Health & Services Food Services Worker in Issaquah, Washington
Providence is calling a Food Services Worker (1.0 FTE - 40 hours per week, Evening Shift) to Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
The tentative schedule for this position is Thursday through Monday, from 12:00PM until 8:30PM. This would allow for Tuesday and Wednesday to be off.
In this position you will:
Clean vegetables, fruits, salads per dietary requirements and operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, wash, peel, and cut cold foods for serving and storing.
Work along with cook during meals and tray line service to prepare trays, checking for errors and following diet cards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room by setting and clearing tables, sanitizing tables, chairs, and tables.
Serve residents in the dining room during meals, following diet list while providing excellent customer service to residents and guests, maintaining dignity and freedom of choice.
Wash dishes using dish machine, then putting away dishes in proper areas once washed and dry.
Sweep and mops floors, remove trash and garbage to designated areas, and clean equipment using Ecolab chemicals to insure sanitary standards.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Food Handlers Card in Washington State
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English
Availability to work flexible hours and different shift times as needed
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
At Least 3 months to a year of prior restaurant and/or institutional food service experience
Customer service experience
