Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Resident (Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Home Health of Snohomish County in Everett, Washington.

An approximately 9-month program to smooth transition into practice.
Thoughtfully developed curriculum that will enhance skills in critical thinking, assessment, and clinical decision making.
Clinical Experience under the guidance of an experience Preceptor.
Ongoing continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Dedicated nurse educators are available both during and following the program as well as an interdisciplinary care team that is always ready to provide support.

In this position you will:
Drive throughout your work day to see patients in private residences, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities within Snohomish County.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for the patient utilizing the interdisciplinary care team.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Utilize software programs for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current (or Pending) Washington State Registered Nursing License
Current Washington State Driver’s license and access to daily use of an insured, reliable vehicle
Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
RN experience in Home Health, Hospice, Long Term Care, Med/Surg Unit, and/or Skilled Nursing facility
Experience working with an EMR system
