Develop and sustain a service line for Heart & Vascular services. In an effort to better serve patients and provide the best patient experience and outcomes possible, all services and functions that contribute to this patient care continuum will be linked together to form a cohesive relationship to have an effective delivery of service. Through this approach will focus energy on the continuum of care in a manner that appreciates the full integration of clinical work with support. This role will function under the direction of the Regional Director for Business Development and Service Lines and in partnership with the Medical Director(s), to further an Institute Model strategy that is the vision for, and provides the infrastructure by which the service line will be developed.
In this position you will:
Achieve success relative to the Quadruple Aim
Facilitate integration of related services in the NWSA, the Western Washington geography of PSJH and the WAMT Region
Incorporate a second service line into the portfolio at the direction of the Executive Director of Business Development and Service Lines
Establish systems/structures/reporting/accountabilities to ensure high performance by all aspects of the service line
Build relationships throughout the WW Geography, the WAMT region and PSJH Institute structures.
Influence Growth plans for NWSA
Lead the development and execution of strategic and business development plans and ensure these plans support the overall mission and priorities of the Northwest WA Service Area (NWSA).
Collaborate with physician leaders, department leaders, and community partners to establish and meet service line goals, including quality / outcomes, volume, financial, patient access, and patient / provider satisfaction goals.
Analyze / interpret / communicate performance metrics to administrative and clinical leaders.
Conduct market research and assessment of national, regional, and local trends.
Gain deep understanding of the current state and capabilities of the service lines as well as those of local and regional competitors.
Identify critical gaps or new, innovative offerings to ensure that the care and services offered position the service lines for success.
Collaborate with Clinical Programs Services (CPS) teams to meet system-wide service line goals.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Clinical and/or Business
7 years of Healthcare experience
2 years of leadership of projects/people
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- Clinical license
