Providence Health & Services Physical Therapist - Hospice in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Physical Therapsit (Hospice, Day Shift, Full-time-40 hours/week) to Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish in Everett, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Perform comprehensive assessments to determine specific therapy needs, develop plans of care, coordinate care with other disciplines and provide direct patient care in the implementation of outcome oriented physical therapy interventions under the physician ordered Plan of Care.
Promote and practice patient/family, personal and environmental safety while performing job duties according to agency policies and procedures.
Participate in relevant educational activities to provide competent care to patients/caregivers, to improve the rehab process, and to seek personal and professional growth.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an institution approved by the WA state board
Current Washington State Physical Therapist License
Current Washington State driver’s license
Current HealthCare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Current HealthCare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Access to daily use of an insured and reliable vehicle or an alternate ability to travel to sites
Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year therapy experience
