Providence Health & Services Pharmacist - Medication Management Clinic in Everett, Washington


Providence is calling a Pharmacist (0.75 FTE, VariableShift) to various Primary Care Locations throughout SouthSnohomish County.

The staff pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care, information

and/or consultation to the patient and other healthcare professionals.

In this position you will:

  • Fill medication orders to allinpatient and/or outpatient areas.

  • Ensure prompt and accuratedelivery of medications to patient, while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Review, process and checkphysician orders and patient medication profiles.

  • Provide pharmaceutical and druginteraction information to the medical staff, hospital staff, and thepublic.

  • Have responsibility forrecommending changes in a patient's drug therapy and capable ininterpreting and evaluating physician orders for the most cost effective,appropriate therapy.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy

  • Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Washington

  • Completed ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Residency Program or 3 years of acute care work experience

  • ACLS certification must be obtained within one year of hire

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Prior hospital and/or primary care pharmacy experience

  • Completion of ASHP accredited residency program
