Providence Manager, Nursing Practice and Clinical Education - Administration in Everett, Washington

Providence is calling a Manager, Nursing Practice and Clinical Education (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in the Administration Department at Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington in Everett, WA. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible to all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

The Manager of Nursing Practice and Clinical Education directs and implements educational programs for the enhancement of professional clinical practice including but not limited to education, administration, research, and theory development, built on the varied educational backgrounds and experience of nursing staff including registered nurses, medical assistants and other caregivers in similar clinical roles.

Position Details: This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits.

In this position you will:

  • Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts, elevate the patient experience, reflect a culture of High Reliability and reflect the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.

  • Assure individual respect for all while maintaining composure in dealing with difficult situations

  • Provide leadership and direction in the creation of patient and caregiver education materials (including job aides, workflows and standard operating procedures).

  • Collaborate with the Regional and System Nursing committees and teams as needed and assists in establishing shared goals for regional or system educational programs.

  • Develop and evaluate nursing and medical assistant practice standards for the continued advancement of clinical care at PMG.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • Master's Degree in Nursing

  • 2 years management experience

  • 5 years experience in related nursing field

  • WA State RN License

  • CPR certification

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in ambulatory nursing

  • Experience in clinical education
