Providence Health & Services Emergency Room Technician - Emergency Services in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling an Emergency Room Technician (0.9 FTE, Day Shift) in the Emergency Services to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
Emergency Room Technician provides routine assistance in the safe and effective care of patients in a variety of age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric. Also provides general administrative and maintenance support.
In this position you will:
Assist the Emergency Department staff with patients in all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric
Perform a variety of tasks to provide safe and effective patient care which is consistent with departmental guidelines
Provide age specific patient care considerations for the population served
Provide general administrative and maintenance support
Perform as Health Unit Coordinator to provide coverage for breaks/lunches and/or sick call replacement if necessary
High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Medical Assistant in Phlebotomy (MA-P) or Medical Assistant Certification (MAC)
Nursing Assistant Registered Certification; must make application to Department of Health (DOH) within first three (3) days of employment or Nursing Assistant, Certified (NAC)
Experience in a fast-paced, emergency care environment
Experience in an acute care facility or a pre-hospital setting
Experience in Telemetry
